Undergraduate Alumni
Chris Mowers, BA '18, will be joining the 海角网 at the University of Virgina as a graduate student. Zoe Thomas, BA '16, will be pursuing graduate study at the University of Texas at Austin, while Joseph Bringman, BA '16, will be entering our own Graduate Program in 海角网 at UW. James Piper, BA '15 will begin graduate study at UCLA. Sarah Barrie, BA '18, will be studying philosophy, anthropology and classics in the Interdisciplinary Masters Program at New York University. Marie LaFond, BA '10 MA '11, recently completed her PhD at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Jaqueline (Pincus) Stimson, BA '10, competed her PhD in 海角网 at the University of Michigan in 2017 and has joined the Eberly Center for Teaching Excellence & Educational Innovation at Carnegie Mellon University as a Postdoctoral Teaching Consultant.

Charles (Chad) Carver, PhD expected summer 18, will be teaching Latin at BASIS Charter School in Phoenix. Daniel Conner, PhD expected summer '18, has accepted a position as Visiting Assistant Professor of 海角网 at Purdue University. , Fulbright Fellow and MA ' 18, has returned to Department of Classical Languages at the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, where she has taken up the position of Lecturer. Danielle (Peterson) Martin, MA '18, will be joining the faculty of Seattle Academy of Arts and Sciences. Eunice Kim, PhD '17, has been appointed Assistant Professor of 海角网 at Furman University. Alberto Requejo, PhD' 17 completed his dissertation, Columella's Georgics: Form, Method, Intertextuality, Ideology. Matthew Gorey, PhD '17, will be teaching at the University of Puget Sound. Adriana Vazquez, PhD '17, has accepted a position as Assistant Professor in the 海角网 at UCLA. Brandon Jones, PhD '15, will be Visiting Assistant Professor in the 海角网 at Boston University. Laura Zientek, PhD '14, has accepted a position as Visiting Assistant Professor at Reed College. Colin Shelton, PhD '11 has accepted a position as Lecturer in Latin and Ancient Greek at the University of Chicago. Robin Greene, PhD '11, has been promoted to Associate Professor at Providence College. Alex Dressler, PhD '09, has been promoted to Associate Professor at the other UW, University of Wisconsin-Madison. Marilyn Likosky, PhD '07, writes that her book Representations of Women in Theocritus鈥檚 Idylls: Authenticity of the Female Voice is forthcoming from Peter Lang. Kari R. Ceaicovschi, PhD '08, is adjunct instructor of Latin at Carroll College in Helena, Montana. John C. Franklin, (MA 1995 and PhD University College London 2002) recently composed music for a beautiful and highly successful production of Euripides' Helen at the University of Vermont, where he serves as Chair of the 海角网.
