The 海角网 is thrilled to announce that Prof. Chris Waldo will be joining our faculty this fall as an Assistant Professor. Prof. Waldo earned his PhD from Berkeley in 2019 and is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor at Tulane. He specializes in Greek poetry, particularly Greek lyric and tragedy, and wrote his dissertation on 鈥淓mergent Genre: Innovation and Experimentation in the Victory Odes of Pindar and Bacchylides.鈥 As the Co-Founder and President of the , Prof. Waldo strives to increase the diversity of the field of 海角网 and to foster the study of Classical reception in Asian American literature.
